Production Order Error

Hi,

Can anyone suggest the reason for the following?

“Production order xxxxxxxxxx could not be scheduled. Not enough capacity could be found”

Look at your routing and the times defined, then the calendars capacity of each work centre - basically it cannot find time to do it.

You will also get the error if a ressource/work center is not allocated to a ressource/work center group with a valid calendar

Does the Resource have a Calendar in AX 2012?

I have same problem with you. my batch order error job scheduling with a message “Production order xxxxxxxxxx could not be scheduled. Not enough capacity could be found”. But if run operation scheduling, it running well.

I have a route with some secondary operation, if I remove secondary operation (only primary operation), job scheduling of my batch order running well.

what should I do to solve my problem?

Yes I have, but when I open schedulingengine.config use notepad, I cannot save it.

you’ll have to ask a technical person what you should open it with then [:D]
