Prod order getting hung

Hi All,

In AX 3.0, when we put a new production order for a particular BOM, the system gets hanged (only for that particular item).What might be the possible reasons?

A circular BOM or a customization. AX3.0 is very old so no memory or method or verifying.

Thanks for the reply.Can you please explain what is a circular BOM…I haven’t heard of that till now…Is there any way to solve the issue? Though the system gets hanged when creating the production order,the order gets created.When we try to delete that particular order,the system again gets hanged.

Check that the BOM of the item you are creating does not contain the item you are creating.
