Hi all,
I have installed client. I need to access the server (say s1) in which this server have only Application, database in one more server(say s2). How can i configure my client to access server(s1). Is this possible?

In Configuration Create new configuration>Give server name as a S1.give the port what you have mentioned at the time of installation.And again save the Configuration file.

i did this and i have also added my userid in user group, but still am getting failed to establish connection.
Hi,
Can you check what the event log is? From event you can find some information which will helps you to trouble shoot the problem.
· Create new client configuration and and provide server name and port number and don’t mention any instance name.
· If not try to click “repair client” from client configuration.
· Even though if it is not working… Use another port number and try again.
If the issue is still persisting, kindly provide me the information which was available on event viewer. it will be help to identify the problem.

Cross check the configuration once again with
Server Name: s1
Instance Name : (Specify the Instance name which you have given while u installing the application in s1)
Port: ( Specify the port no which you have given while u installing the application in s1)
and Finally confirm whether AOS service is started in server ‘S1’.

i checked all the above information. it is perfect. Thanks. But still it is showing error as “Failed to establish the connection”. So i tried to ping that system. It did not response. is that the problem? if so, what i have to do?
