hello everyone I have a problem with receiving a transfer order showing the below message:

I tried to receive all shipment except line number 5 but no change
please help

You post a packing slip on an intercompany sales order. Then, you reverse the posted packing slip. Next, you invoice the intercompany sales order. In this scenario, you receive the following error message: Function InventTrans.inventMovement has been used incorrectly. This problem occurs if the Unit price equal to cost price check box was selected in the Intercompany action policy dialog box when you set up the sales order endpoint. The Intrastat output file displays data in an incorrect format After you use the Output feature to generate a disk for an Italian Intrastat transaction in an Intrastat form, the Intrastat output file displays lowercase letters instead of uppercase letters. I am facing error “Function InventTrans.inventMovement has been used incorrectly” while receiving Transfer order. But i am able to receive TO without troubled item#18. I set Receive Now qty of item#18 to ‘0’ and received the TO. We also have customization with Transfer Order process. Can anyone guide.

Have you applied the discussed hotfix in the post?
I see mentioned hotfixes are older, we are using AX2012 R2 CU1 version. Did you recommend to apply hotfixes, reason?
Now I know your version it is different - have you looked for a hotfix from R2 CU1?

I have checked hotfix KB951724 is applied to Intercompany Sales order and not cover Transfer order, see below text copied from Hotfix rollup article 951724 (Dynamics AX 4.0 Service Pack 2). I did not find similar hotfix for AX 6.0, shall I try to apply the hotfix or ticket Microsoft, please suggest.

So assuming there is no report of your issue in your version the next step is to get a developer to debug it tell you exactly what the issue is.
The subject error stopped appearing on Transfer order, and don’t know if/when it will appear again. But we have started facing error “Function InventTrans.inventMovement has been used incorrectly” on Retail statement posting. I am not able to guess this strange behavior but we have assigned a developer to diagnose reason of error. I will share our findings.
