Problem with item price

I am using Ax 2012.

Normally when PO invoice posted, the item’s purchase price and inventory price updated.

But for some of my items, Purchase price is updating but inventory price is not updating.

Any idea?

Does the latest cost price is marked for those items?

Yes it is.

If it is a standard cost item, then the price will not be updated.
