Posted GL journal got deleted from system.

On this case, i discovered 2 posted GL journals were deleted by the users. they have simulated that 2 users’ access and showed unable to delete posted journals from the user interface. However, dblog showed that these 2 users deleted the journals. Our support team already done the checking and testing but unfortunately still can’t get the same scenario. Usually, it is possible to delete the posted journal if the option “delete lines after posting” is checked. Besides this, none of the posted journal can be deleted. Any solution can be given?

If the transactions exist in the tables it does not matter, so do they?

those transactions r totally missing.

they have also ruled out that possibility that the users may have used the Periodic>Clean up>Ledger journals clean up as that would have deleted all general journals.

If the transactions are missing you either have a dangerous rogue modification or someone is hackign the tables from the back end.

Kindly provide me the solution…tq

That is not possible - I would suggest you have a modification doing this, but you need to replicate it happening and then debug it, or review your code. AX will not do this as standard.

tq!

GL->setup-> Journal->journal name-> check the journal types which is select the “delete lines after posting”.
