I am trying to find a way to require the user to have to enter a manufacturing date when they receive a PO line. We have shelf life days set on the item and we need the manufacturing date to determine the expiration date for the items. Do we need to have the Advanced Warehouse Management feature setup for this?

I’ve seen similar cases where teams needed to capture manufacturing dates during PO receipts for shelf-life tracking. You don’t necessarily need Advanced Warehouse Management for this; with the right setup, it can be handled through standard Inventory and Procurement features in F&O.
At a surface level, adding a few functional validations or mandatory field checks during receipt can ensure the manufacturing date is entered, allowing the system to auto-calculate expiration based on shelf-life setup.
