PO Invoice posting error(AX 2012) :Function InventCostTransCostList::newPlannedCostList has been used incorrectly

Hi All,

I am getting following error while posting invoice for one of the Purchase order in AX

"Function InventCostTransCostList::newPlannedCostList has been used incorrectly.

An error occurred during update"

I am getting the above error for the particular PO only.

Can any one tell me what might be wrong with that PO?

Do you have any specific setup for the Item used in PO? Could you give us more details on this!

No Kranthi.

I did not setup specifically for the item. It is as same as remaining items but for that particular PO only it is throwing error.

I suggest you to sit with your developer to know what that function is expecting. It makes it easy to find the solution.

Hi,

I’m usinf AX 2009 and I got exactly the same problem, so as a dev, I searched a long time in code and did not found any problem. Finally, The solution I found is the solution to solve a lot of Microsoft products bugs: rebooting. The problem disappeared since my AOS instance has been rebooted.
