PO Change Management - Workflow

Hi,

I am working on a workflow management and require certain configuration assistance. My client “XZ LTD” requires that when their purchase order approver receive a PO that has been modified (changed), they receive the details of the changes in the approval note (automatically.)

Lets say, PO quantity was changed from 100 to 200, the approver needs to receive a notification message for approval with the note saying original quantity = 100, new quantity = 200.

Change Management is active and I am looking for a functional solution without involvement (or sparingly…) of technical team.

Any ideas / suggestion?

Thanks Kranthi, however I need the details on the approval request note. I am already aware of comparing versions.

When approved and you want to make a change the user has to select the action to request the change and it goes back through the workflow.

Let me clarify this - The change has been made to a PO that is already approved - when re-submitted for approval (as Change Mgt is active), the client wants the approver to receive a note which automatically states what changes are made to the existing PO (This is required in the notification / approval instructions) .
