Performance problem on LAN

I have two subnets on my LAN. Subnetting is done by router. All Tcp-ip dresses are dynamically given by DHCP. Server Windows 2000 is one one sub-net with fix TCP-IP adresses. When a PC is on another subnet than Server dramatic performance problems occurs. Does somebody has a solution to parameter Navision to limit these problems ?

Perhaps a bandwith problem of the router ? There are no parameters in Navision for this problem.

Must be bandwidth, we have 4 different subnets and run both LAN/WAN, no problems such as those you describe. You MUST allocate 20-30kb per connection if running Citrix. Much more if not, I would estimate 60-80kb and even then it will be slower than thru Citrix.

Hello John Using the tool of Navision giving the speed with small and big packets the ratio between stations on server router and other is 1/8. What do you mean by “allocating 60-80 kbps” ? Is a parameter of Navision

are we talking wans or lans here.
