Seems to Ax is a half baked product.
My client has many one time customers of other countries and purchases the material .when the customer done the payment , client is expecting the option to enter the exchange rate on the customer payment journal directly, but even in AX 2012 also system does not allow to enter the exchange rate directly on the Customer payment journal.
Is there a way of overwriting the exchange rate directly on the journal level ?
you can enter the exchange rate in the customer payment journals right…

I see there’s a provision to enter the exchange rate directly to in the CustPay Journal. Can you check it again.

As suggested, you can enter the exchange rate on journal line but make sure to check the currency revaluation impact before implementing it.
None of the ERP is fully baked, if they will be fully baked then all of us (consultants) in this forum will be jobless.
