Offset account field appears to be grayed out on counting journal type (Inventory >Setup >Journals >Journal name, inventory). Is there any way to enter an offset account or it’s not applicable for counting journal types at all?

I think it is not possible to enter an offset account as it impacts the inventory asset account and then the profit/loss account from the posting setup. It will always post to the offset account of profit/loss.
