The Not Blank Property for a Database Field only works properly, when the field is part of the primary key. Otherwise it only works, when the field already contains a value and you try to clear it. IMO it should have the same functionality as a NOT NULL statement in SQL.
To all of my knowledge then this works. But it’s only checked when you’re editing the field. If you never enteres anything into the field, then yes, the check is not performed. Best regards, Erik P. Ernst, webmaster Navision Online User Group
