Non BOM item management in Navision 2009

Hi,

Experts, I am working on the cronous company in demodatabase. I manufactured the bicycle for that we already created the BOM , routing no. etc. At this time we uses the some raw materials (Non BOM items) which are not included in the Production BOM of that particular item, for example different types of stickers, Bicycle plastic cover or Box etc.

My question is that , suppose we have packets of stickers , which contains 100 stickers per pack. But the production order of bicycle is actually the 20 bicycles ,each bicycle required the one sticker , so what about the remaining 80 stickers , how we can manages it ? how we can use it in next production order ?

In short, how we can manages such non BOM items in the MS Dynamics navision 2009.

Can anybody suggest me the any solution.

By definition if they are not in the BOM you are not interested in managing them. Put them in the BOM and manage them, or leave them out and do not worry about them.

Hi,

You can put them into BOM and set forward or Backward flushing - 20 stickers will be removed from inventory when you Release or Finish order.

Setup Min/Max or Fixed Reorder Point for replanishment system.
