Hi all, How can we manage thsi scenario where we do not keep any Back order so If an item is Back order, a new order must be placed by the customer ( we asked him to do so) . How can we handle that easily in F&O? tks
I don’t think there’s a way to handle that by default. Maybe a customization built using ATP or CTP could be done, but it sounds somewhat complicated.
What’s the requirement? Is the customer saying they need a separate order, or is it to help your team process these types of orders?
There is some standard functionality via Retail configuration/call center that supports this through Cancellation notices. This allows you to set warnings and an automatic cancellation when orders hit a certain threshold of “lateness” or delays.
