I found a nice little KB article from MS that details some things to look for when trying to find deadlocks in SQL. In particular, one piece of the puzzle is a special stored procedure that will analyze the db for deadlocks, and report that information in a text file. Another article linked inside also contains some more information. See the article here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/271509/ I haven’t had a chance to really look in to it, but it looks like it could be pretty useful.
Wow, that really looks to be a quite cool feature! I definitely will check it out in detail! Thanks a lot for this hint [:p]
