New Programming NAV 2013 book published

The new book “Programming Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013” is now available from www.packtpub.com and Amazon.com. Written by Chris and David Studebaker, long time NAV consultants, this book is the latest in the widely used series of Programming NAV books from PACKT. This book covers all the new functionality of NAV 2013. Like the previous books, Programming NAV 2013 is the all-encompassing NAV reference for developers (with lots of examples), a text for those new to NAV (chapter review quizzes) and the easy-to-understand technical companion for managers and consultants.

Hi,

Is this book appropriate for people who are you with NAVISION ?

i am starting with, and i am looking for good documentation to well start.

Do you know if i can find good documentation about Migrating Nav ?

What to think ? what to try ? What to do?

Thx.

julien.

Hi David,

Good to hear that…

Hi Julien,

The primary target audience for my Programming NAV books are those who are new to NAV Development but are experienced in business applications development using other tools. Secondary audiences are NAV developers who want to refresh or want to learn new features of a newer version of NAV. Other people who find the book useful are consultants and managers who want to know more about NAV’s development tools and capabilities.

Many developers find these books a very useful reference book to use alongside the built-in Help.

Some of the other NAV books published by PACKT provide useful reference material on migrating NAV either from one version to another or from another system to NAV. For specific questions, this forum is a wonderful tool, as is the NAV forum at mibuso.com

Good luck!

Dave
