Navision does not recognize local printer

We have some Navision applications on a Citrix environment. On a Win2K workstation we installed a Phaser 850N printer(local). No problem to print from the citrix servers, but Navision doesn’t recognize the printer. Any suggestions, please? Kind Regards, A

Not sure if will be of any help but recently I had a problem with an HP printer under Terminal server and Windows XP environment. The XP could print easily but under terminal server there was no printer. The problem was with the PCL6 drivers of the printer. Once reinstalled with the “normal” driver the printer was imediatly visible to the Terminal Server session ence Navision… Cheers, Joao Jesus jpjesus@netcabo.pt

Check connecting to the server user citrix on a terminal session way… or opening as example word so you can check what printers are recognized on the machine. Navision just uses the windows printers you’re having installed on your machine, so if Citrix doesn’t recognize the printer he won’t be able, but it has nothing to do at all on the printer recognition. Check that the citrix clients are able of using that printer with other programs… if not here you’ve your reason. Regards

please check with the printer setups and also whether the printer name can be seen on a citrix environment.
