I am trying to use the lastest version of the toolkit (1.02) to assist in an upgrade to Attain 3.60 but no matter what i do, when i try to open the 3.60 toolkit database that i so carefully prepared (according to the manuals instructions), it point blank refuses to do so.[:(!]I get an error message saying ‘the database file cannot be used with this version of the program’. Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong?
Uses NADT only 3.10 databasefile?? I think so. Bostjan
Really? That’s a bit odd. Why did they release it on the same CD as 3.60? Does this mean that as yet no navision 3.60 database can be used in a Developers toolkit?
I now see the error of my ways. Just for reference (if anyone else is as confused as i was)[xx(] - You need to use a 3.10 database (as mentioned previously) as the toolkit database they tell you to create in the documentation, anything else just wont do. I have found it very easy to get into a muddle over which version you are using for what and i have now realised that it is easier to think of the toolkit as an entirely separate tool that is only linked to navision by name and the fact you are importing navision related text files to use in it.
