NAV backup files can only be 2GB in size, and when a backup file grows beyond that size, it automatically splits the backup into multiple files. When you start the restore with file 1, the system will automatically move on to file 2, which it will try to find in the same folder where the first file was. You need to make sure you have all backup files in the same folder, and then you can continue the restore process.
I found it useful to end my backup name with a number then it easily increments.
Backup1. ->easily becomes Backup2 then Backup3, etc etc.
I couldn’t be more happy with that NavBAckup Lite. It takes my 32GB database every night and makes me a 1.75GB file that I can pop onto a USB data drive and take it with me every night. I’ve also copied the entire Nav product cd on the USB Data drive so I can reinstall the entire system where ever I go (if necessary) I reinstalled it at home and it worked like a charm.
