My clients are currently using Lotus Notes 5. They would like to integrate Navision’s Customer Relationship Module with the Lotus Notes to have two-way synchronization of the Contact and Address Book. I would like to know if it is a MUST for the client to upgrade the Lotus Notes to 6 in order to have it done. Also, I would like to know how to do the two-way synchronization between the two.
the simplest solution is to move from lotus to outlook/exchange. If you are going to integrate lotus notes, be prepared for a big job. Since you are going to be developing from the ground up, it does not matter which version of lotu they use, but ver 6 is a much more stable platform, problem is that it is a memmory hog, and 3.70 and notes 6 on the same machine can be a problem, si I suggest you do a lot of testing before making the decision.
