I’m not sure if this was where I should post this inquiry but… We’re looking for a comprehensive list of Microsoft certified Navision add-on/third party programs. I feel like I have looked everywhere but haven’t found what I want. I realize this forum has an Add-on area but the list is somewhat limited. Does anyone know of another place to find something like this? Thanks, Alyssa
Alyssas, I asked our channel manager from MBS the same thing. There used to be an add-on catalog, listing all official registred add-ons worldwide. This catalog hasn’t been updated since 2002 I believe, so there is no overview at the moment I think. Maybe we can start it here?
Hi all, I have the same kind of reqest. Could you put me to the distribution list, if there happens to be a new and updated Add-On list compiled and shared, by group members. It looks like that MBS will not be putting a new list into public distribution, within a short time. thanks to all. esat.karaoz@omnitr.com.tr

Okay…but… Who’s going to evaluate all this stuff? I mean some of this could be good and some could be crap. Perhaps some kind of category could be set-up by add-on product so that users could leave their comments. Or a prospect could get in touch with an end-user to see if its full of bugs or something. Software in a brochure or screen shots can look great. But what if it doesn’t work? My guess is thats why Microsoft doesn’t want to publish a list of “certified” add-ons.
Hi, We are looking add-on for Oil & Gas drilling and Minning, please send me an e-mail about your product add-on.
Microsoft are addressing this, the somewhat cryptic reply they gave at Tech2003 indicates we could have a moderated list later this year.

Dear Peter, I visited your website. But it is not in english. Could you send the link for an english site or mail to esat.karaoz@omnitr.com.tr your pdf documents about your add-ons. Thanx.
I guess listing all the add-ons that are available worldwide would lead to a huge list which will, because of its length, not be used anymore. Important aspect in this is the fact that there are add-ons that only cover a very small piece of functionality that can be used in multiple industries. At the same time there are add-ons that could better be described as “vertical solutions”, so complete company wide solutions for a certain vertical industry. I think that when listing add-ons, this distinction should at least be made. Pebblestone Fashion is an add-on that we would call a vertical solution for the fashion (apparel, footwear, sporting goods) industry. It covers the company processes of production, wholesale and retail companies. For further information see www.pebblestonefashion.com .
Hi, We do have add-on’s, seven of them registered under the MBS Add-on program: - Finite Capaticity Scheduling (FCS)classic and advanced editions, our star product, developed for several languages all over the world. The aim of FCS is to schedule the manufacturing activities to make those items and distributing the workload among the resources able to do it. - Maintenance (MM), a module which provides utilities for the planning and management of activities and materials related to preventive and corrective maintenance. - Subcontracting module (SSCC): the control of the situation of the materials in the flow towards and from the subcontractors of productive operations, the documentation of the above mentioned flow and the improved management of the costs prices of alternative subcontractors. - Traceability (Trace): the aswer to two basic questions of the quality management in manufacturing and distribution.Trace forwards: In which items a lot number or purchase to a vendor has taken part? Trace backwards: which intermediate items or raw material have taken part into a certain finished item? - Explosion/Implosion: this application gives utilities of graphic requesting, very intuitive, in a complete folder view of the whole material list and item routing at all levels, from finished products to raw material or vice versa. - Quality regarding Product/Item, Vendor or Advanced Item. Control to the maximum the quality of your items and vendor with exhaustive essays, controls and tips (based on AQL). - Inventaria: Report and analysis of the inventory values with the utility of posting in accountancy the calculated inventories. You can always evaluate the situation of your warehouses. - Time Control of Floor Shop run time (CTEP): Minimal effort, maximum result. This module is designed in order that the workmen introduce his/her own information of activity and effects, with the minimal possible effort. It is done by means an extensive use of the code of bars. - Molds: Special case for plastic injection industries. Manage the molds and know its state in every moment at a simple sight. Navision in Denmark, once publiced a Add-On Catalog, based on Danish NSC’s Add-On. However, when you called for info, it useally turned out, that the ‘Add-On’ was ONE of their customers, and it wasn’t completely done yet… Just my 2 cents
Hopefully with this reply the “Microsoft JET Database Engine error ‘80040e57’”-error will be gone and this thread will be fixed…
Yes Tino, it does seemt hat some threads gget messed up, and posting a reply tends to fix them. Eirk is working right now on getting all this sorted out. As well as having performance problems with the old ISP, there are the usual teething problems wth the new install.
David, when did you move to the Czech Republic ?
