Navision 2009 R2 + Outlook 2010

Hi,

Have installed the above software but when trying to launch an email from NAV it flickers (The Screen) as though it is trying to launch Outlook but fails to do so, please could you offer any suggestions please.

Assuming you’ve already tested that Outlook works on your pc and you don’t get any other errors?

And you’re using the latest cumulative update for 2009 R2?

Have you tried on a different PC with the same NAV and Office versions?

Exactly when does this happen? Which function in NAV are you using? And is it classic or RTC?

In the end the user flattened the PC reinstalled Office 2010 and NAV2009 R2 and resolved the issue. It seems that putting Office 2016 on in the first place and then removing it has damaged the integrity of the PC.
