NAV2013 R2 and SQL 2012 R2

Does NAV2013R2 work with SQL 2012 R2 as well as with SQL 2012? The latest information I got was from the document “System Requirements for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2” dated September 2013, so maybe SQL 2012 R2 is not regarded there…
