Does anyone knows how to configure NAV User Password Authentication in NAV 2013?
I tried by changing the credential type in the General tab of the current server instance.
But after changing the credential type, when I restart the service, it gives this error…

I just did as it saya to create a new user for NavUserPassword authentication, and finaly when I click OK button of User Card I’m getting this message.

You have not completed all necessary fields for the Credential Type this client is currently using. The user will not be able to log in unless you provide a value in the Windows User Name field. Are you sure that you want to close the page?

Then how do I log using that name and password?
Still I can’t restart the server instance. It still gives the previous message.

If you look in Event Viewer for more help regarding erro then you will find
“The required certificate thumbprint is not specified. Specify a valid value for the ClientServicesCertificateThumbprint configuration setting.”
So you need to add Certificate for this
