NAV 2013 R2 credential type

I choose “NAVUserPassword” Credential type while installing NAV 2013 R2.

Now when i start the client it asks for user name and password.

But i don’t know what username and password to enter and where to set it…?

Please suggest.

The NAVUserPassword is the authentication method that does not rely on Active Directory. The NAVUserPassword is native to Dynamics NAV and you will create the user and passwords inside of NAV. Here is a link that will help you understand the different authentication methods:
