Can someone explain how to use/its calculate Demand Forecasting (5820)… is there a documentation for this ?

My company Nav license has this granule (5820) and I am not sure how can I use it, however based on its title I think I can get a lot of benefit from it. Can I use this granule to do my sales forecast ? or if you can give me the object id (form) to use it , I can explore it myself.

Check in the “Manufacturing II” training manual. You can find it on PArtnersource or Customersource.
It will not calculate your sales forecast. In the forecast form, you enter the end result of your Forecast. Then, when using Requ. Worksheet or Planning Worksheet, you can include or not the forecast. If you do so, Nav will net the requ. against any sales. For example, you have a forecast of 10 on item ABC, if you have sold 5 on a sales order, Nav will recommend 10…5 for Order 123 and 5 for stock. You will find more details in the training manual.
If you want to do your sales forecasting, you will have to use an external tool like Demand Planner (Officially discontinued from MS offer but still available from TXT) or some Add-On like Lanham Forecasting.
