For some reason our MRP system will not peg sales orders to on hand inventory. Instead it pegs to the next scheduled purchase order delivery date. Does anyone know why this is happening?
Because the on hand is not available for the demand.
This depends on the setup and dimension controls etc. Difficult to comment on the information given.
