We are wanting to move our current navision database to another sqlserver. I’ve made a backup of the database and restored it to the new sql server. I’ve then tried to connect to the new sql server from the navision client and I get the error
“Your program license permits a maximum of 2 nondemonstrations companies”
I understand that I need to “install the licence” on the new sql server via the file > database > alter > integration. How do I install the licence if I can’t connect to the database from the nav client?
Also when I install the licence will this break the licence on the current sql server? … I want to test things before I completely change the sql server.
