When our customer is for example modifying a resource in the job journal line, Navision goes through all different kinds of tables to modify records in these tables. Even though the tables are empty or not even in the license. Therefore modifying a resource in the job journal line will take 2 to 3 minutes. Has anybody some good advise. [;)]
That is correct and you can not change it ! Navision looks for tablerelations which has to be changed also.
delete and recreate with the new name is a lot faster (if possible)

Sounds mighty strange to me. The primary key in the Job Journal Line consists of the following fields: Journal Template Name,Journal Batch Name,Line NoModifying the Ressource should NOT result in the rename behaviour you describe. Has any mods been made?
