Missing Journal Header

Hello All,  
  
We are faced with an interesting problem in Axapta 3.0 SP3 installation.  
  
Our users tell us that sometimes Movement or Transfer journals headers dissapear.

The lines exist in the InventJournalTrans and there are no records that the headders were deleted in the database log.

however, these journals cannot be found in the InventJournalTable.

Hi

Look for Sevice pack 5 and the following

#7488 The journal numbers of Inventory management journals were occasionally updated incorrectly

Inside you will find how to replicate the issue and also the solution.

In the meantime, to resolve the issue, create a new header and save it then rename it to the ‘missing’ number journal header.
