Hi all,
one of my client using NAV 2013 database and its size is 300 GB. This NAV 2013 database has data from past 15 years.Now client needs data in navision from year2011 onwards to till date.
Can anyone please suggest is there any solution to take the old data(year 2000 to 2011) backup and possible to maintain database having data from 2011 year ???

It is NOT possible to delete ALL data before some date, it would cause numerous problems if done.
To reduce DB size, have a look at Admin / IT Admin / Data Deletion. There are several options - you can delete data from Document tables, as these are in fact no longer needed after docs have been posted. Ledger tables can be date-compressed only, deletion there is not allowed as all the balances will go nuts if you simply delete some entries.

Finally, what is the reason you’re willing to delete old data - DB size? 300Gb nowadays is not much at all, NAV and MSSQL Server can handle that (and more) easily, and it shouldn’t affect performance, too.
