Navsion 3.60 For an assortment of reasons I have opted for Manufacture to Order rather than to stock. In v 3.60 the MPS calculation takes account of any stock already produced (this is different to 3.70 which ignores stock already produced when using manufacture to order). However, having said this the MRP calculation does not take account of any sub assemblies which are in stock. So here is the question: Has anyone modified the MRP routine to take account of Sub assemblies which are already in stock? Alternativley can anyone give me a pointer as to what part of the code needs changed??
Hi I know this may sound silly due to your “assortment of reasons” but couldn’t you flag the sub-assemblies as MTS and avoid any modifications? I am not a developer so cannot help with the code I am afraid!
We are manufacturing foodstuffs, sometimes the “Sub assemblies” are made and held in stock at other times the “sub assemblies” go straight into the finished goods and are not placed in stock. The “Manufacture to Order” Made the above more achievable. However, I am reviewing use of the MTS option since this modifacation is proving difficult.
