Many outout item and many input items how to set in bill of material

we stuck in create BOM here is morethen 6 output against 6 inputs (rawmaterials)
how to set?

Typically, BC has multiple components and a single output. Please clarify whether each of your six output items has a single component or if you combine 6 components, then the combined components make 6 outputs. This will help to provide guidance.

Dear Sir,
Bill of Material is created for One Product (Output).
The main purpose of creating BOM is to clearly state the inputs with quantity is going to consumed
during producing one product. This cost of the material is used to calculate the Standard Cost of the
product (Output) as direct material cost.

The case may be for by-products, or some scrap is generated for recycling (if any).

Therefore, if you can share the scenario in detail, I can help out.

Use production families.

Hi @Bharat_Acharya,

I think it should work if you create BoM for 1 main output and create component lines for remaining 5 output items with negative quantity per(-1) along with all 6 raw materials.

Hi,

Other than customization you can try with negative components on the BOM. This should do a positive posting for these items. Have done it on older versions, so you will need to try it out. You will need to set up the Unit Cost.

Hope it helps

What product are you making?

Could you provide with the sample data which you are doing.
How you are creating your output? Manually?
In an ideal world Output is created once you complete the last step in a routing.

Please let us know if you have resolved and what you did to resolve. There are a few things we could look at if you have not.
