Make a copy of an object such as Dataport

I am working on a dataport which is very similar to an existing one. Can I make a copy of this existing one and modify it as a new dataport?

Yes, you can. Several ways to do this (as usual in Navision…), but an easy one is to open the existing one (Design), then use Save As to save the copy, with a new ID number and a different name, of course. John

hi april, you can make a copy of the same object by designing the object, then in the design mode, click file → save as this will enable you to save your object with a new name and a new id.
