LS Retail Creating customer

Hi all,

i have one question… by default can u creat new customer in ls retail from the front office( i mean can the sales person creat the custmer or we have to creat it in NAV(BACK OFFICE). and can you search for customer by the his phone number ??

if yes how can we do that???

Hi

The customer can be created in HO by the sales person and it can be replicated to BO and the POS thru DD. LS Retail uses the same customer card as standard NAV.

Yes, you can search the customer on any field available on the table. Press F5 for the customer list and if the telephone number field is visible on the list form, it is searchable.

Hey,

Yes you can do so.

You have to define a key on the POS View_Customer This will view and allow you to create a new customer

on the lookup menu you have to add one button for FINDMOBILE/FINDPHONE depend where the phone number is stored (Field that the Phone number is stored in)

thaks for your points i have done as following you in the customer widows while selecting the existing customer its throughing me the following error could u help me out

This is my requirement

  1. i need to create new customer in POS level (Billing time).
  2. i need to search the existing customer based on the customer mobile number (POS Level only & Billing time ).

can u give some clear solution on this!!!
