We have a situation where LS Retail is charging the wrong credit card on occasion.
We are unable to replicate the error on demand, but we have seen the error at least 10 times within the past month.
What we seem to be able to gather is that a customer comes in and we scan their credit card. For some reason the card won’t scan so we will manually enter it into LS Retail and we will charge the card.
Every now and then the next time you swipe a credit card instead of charging the new credit card the manually entered credit card from the previous transaction is being charged.
We have found this by seeing the duplicate numbers in the Trans. Payment Entry Table.
