Limit on customer’s purchases (sales order), on each calendar year?

Hi All,
Can we able to fix any limit on customer’s purchases (sales order), on each calendar year?
I’m not looking for credit limit functionality because once customer has clear the all debts amount then again that customer will get rights to create sales order.
Any help is much appreciated…

there is no auto process for this, but u can manually change the Stopped field in customer card to ALL. this way u can stop creation of new sales order against that customer.
