Jobs in Production Order

Hi,

In AX 2009, Can any one tell me where we need to configure the JOBs? When we open Production Order & hit BOM or Routes buttons, I’m able to see attached BOMs and attached Routes to that particular item which we tried to create Production order. But when i click on JOBS button I’m unable to see the jobs? where do i need to configure them and how do i do? In which senarios we use these JOBS ? please explain me.

can any one share document or tell me the procedure how to setup the JOBS?

Why do you want jobs? Are you using MES, or posting timings through routes? No point in saying where to setup jobs if you do not know what you want to use them for [:D]
