Hi, all~~ I need your help…so… It’s problem on Manufacuring Module. When I’ve changed staute a manufacturing order from released to finished, I got a message ‘Item xxx is not on inventory.’. I found the codeunit 22 Item Jnl.-Post Line with the message. --------------------------------------------------------------------- WITH ItemJnlLine DO BEGIN IF ItemLedgEntry.Open THEN BEGIN IF (((ItemLedgEntry.“Entry Type” IN [ItemLedgEntry.“Entry Type”::“Negative Adjmt.”, ItemLedgEntry.“Entry Type”::Consumption]) AND (“Source Type” = “Source Type”::Item)) OR (ItemLedgEntry.“Entry Type” = ItemLedgEntry.“Entry Type”::Transfer)) AND (ItemLedgEntry.Quantity < 0) THEN ERROR(Text005,ItemLedgEntry.“Item No.”); ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Text005 is the message. Inventory quantity is enough. umm… If I do ‘reserve’ the component, I can’t see the error message. SO…help me~~~~~~ thanks!
Are you sure the Component Quantity is available? Check Location, Lot, Serial Number, etc…
In the released order in the lines (or as seen in the production journal in version 4) you have a location code. I would guess this is blank and your stock is in an actual location, and it is looking to take stock out of blank. As Chris rightly says, you have told Navision to take stock where none exists, so check the location, bin, serial number and lot number, not to mention the quantity you are trying to take. What appears on the shortage list? Any quantity needed?
