Item Tracking Batch Length

any one can help regarding Item Tracking Batch number we need enlarge the digits in Batch number: if is possible to enlarge the number of digits for the storage dimension Batch number without any customization.

Current 20 Digits.
Target 50 Digits.

Amjad,

I am curious why you would like to expand the Item Tracking No.? Are you talking about the Lot Number or Serial No. length? Just trying to understand your reason to expand a core field length, which I never do.

Hi,

thanks for your reply, Actually My client need Item Batch field length maximum 50 digit, currently this field length is maximum 20 digit, i don’t need to lot or serial number length.

Amjad,

Wow 50 digits! Crazy large. Are you incrementing the No. Series by 1 digit because that is a very, very large Batch (Document No.).
