iSolutions Accounts Receivable platform

We are evaluating Accounts Receivable platforms and iSolutions is one option we’re considering. Does anyone have any experience with this platform? Looking for the good, bad, and anything in between.

Hello,

I’ve worked with iSolutions and I can share some insights:

Pros:

  • It works well within Business Central, making automation of invoices, payments, and collections easier.
  • Provides self-service options for customers to view and pay invoices, reducing manual follow-ups.
  • Helps streamline dunning processes, reminders, and payment follow-ups.
  • Supports multiple payment methods, including credit cards and ACH, which is useful for reducing outstanding receivables.

Cons:

  • While it offers solid out-of-the-box functionality, complex custom workflows might require additional development.
  • It’s not the cheapest option, so if budget is a concern, you might want to compare it with other AR automation tools.
  • Learning curve – Some users report that setting up automation rules and workflows takes time to fine-tune for their needs.

If you’re looking for strong native integration with Business Central and an easy way to automate AR processes, it’s a solid choice. But if you need highly customized workflows, you might need extra development effort.

Thank you for sharing those insights. It looks like it has seamless integration with Business Central and is nearly ‘plug and play.’ As we had initially looked at AR automation, I don’t think we will need any customization, but certainly good to know what we might face if that would come up.

You’re welcome! Yeah, if you’re planning to stick with the standard AR workflows, you’ll likely be just fine with the base setup, iSolutions really shines in that area.
