Inventory On Hand report

Hi All

i have taken out the on hand inventory report but it is showing less number of item than item master actually have.It also showing the item which does not have any trensactions. Can anyone tell me why.

thanks

Which on hand report and what parameters are you selecting when running it?

from the report Nventory management/reportd/on hand stock report and i have selected only the date i.e “…2/10/2011” in physical date.

That report does not have a date field on the parameters, just the dimensions. Have you modified it or are you selecting a transactional date field from the table?

Is there any difference if you remove the date and run it for all?

i had set this in table name “on hand inventory” feild “physical date” then date “10/2/2011”.

One more thing which is not more clear to me what is physical date, what i think is it is the date when the physical voucher for inventory is created.

their is no difference when i run the report without date.

The physical date is the date it physically transacts, furture costs would not necessarily be included.

All you can do is not filter by date and then investigate your differences one by one.

Hi Adam

i am trying to pull the on hand report from Inventory Management/report/on hand inventory, it is not showing all the item which are present in the item master. And if you say the report will not show the item which does not have transaction, there are some item in the report whose transaction are not there and they are showing with blank in quantity. I have also pull the report with blank parameter just reset and click on OK, the same report is coming. Please advise me

thnaks

Blank parameter - verify you have not left anything in the select criteria.

I would also advise you get a developer to check it is the original version.

Then verify at a transactional level the details. Also check the transaction table is not modified in any manner.

If then an issue report to your partner or Microsoft. Nothing wrong with the standard report when I run it, but it would depend upon data and I am not looking at your data.

ok i will do this. Thanks Adam
