Hi everyone: :slight_smile:

The reason why the company use Box unit and convert it to piece is because, After purchasing an Item with unit Box, they want to issue it by pieces, they want the warehouse to recieve it by piece, Ex: I purchase 1 Box of a certain Item which is 12Pcs.

When issuing a an item and post it, the transaction posted is ok… however when i want to send back/return/add the item again, (Positive value) the amount being carried in the posted transaction is the amount of the unit BOX,

Now i’ve learned that the i need to calculate it manually, i need to know the computed price by unit(piece) base on the Price of the unit Box and enter it in the Cost Amount Field in the movement Journal before posting it.

I disagree with this, if you purchase in boxes and stock in pieces the inventory movemment is automatically in pieces and the base cost is automatically reflected as the base cost.
