Hi All,

When I do a counting in our office I am getting below error message only for one item.

“Item xxxxxxxx is locked for updates in warehouse x because it is being counted.”

I am not able to add a line in new counting journal for any other warehouse. but the system is allowing us to add a line in the same journal.

Please let me know, what is the issue?

AX wants you to control inventory in a warehouse, and to prevent you multiple counting errors on the same item restricts an item to being counted once within a warehouse. You need to look at the warehouse item record, you will see this is locked and the journal, this is to prevent double counting of errors.
