Intrastat Form – No lines / transactions are being pulled through

Dear AX Team,

The setup / config behind Intrastat seemed relatively easy. Config done, more or less, is similar to the link below (only difference is I am with AX2009 and not AX2012)

technet.microsoft.com/…/aa548435.aspx

Issue is, ours is a UK company and we raised a Free text Invoice to a customer in Germany (‘EU’ Country / Region). A ‘service’ related invoice so no ‘item’ involved. Ensured the appropriate Intrastat ‘Transaction Code’ was reflected in the FTI as well. I expect this transaction to be pulled through to the Intrastat form when I click on ‘Transfer UK’. But no. Re-checked setup and to the extent I know, all seems ok.

So what am I missing please? Do I need to somehow first ‘enable’ use of Intrastat form in this company? Other missing config outside the link attached?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Kaz

Check if the invoice/delivery country region of the customer is set to country region type = EU in foreign trade parameters.
What is the value of "Transfer when meeting criterion for " parameter value?

Hi Kranthi, Thanks for replying. Let me answer question 2 first. Under Basic > Setup > Foreign Parameters > Intrastat Parameters > ‘the transfer when meeting criterion’ is “No check”. For the 1st question, a colleague did say there might have been a customisation against the address sections of both the customer & vendor. In other words, I didn’t see, in AX2009, a ‘Foreign Trade Parameters’ tab or an address specifically for Invoice etc. See screen shots please of Address tab & General tab.

Now, in Screen Shot 2, if you see the section 'Government Identification", you would notice within the ‘Country / Region’ parameter that it has been defined as “EU”. I was hoping Intrastat feeds the data from here.

But if you say there definitely ought to be a Foreign Parameters tab or an address field independent of this that Intrastat uses to pick up “EU”, can you send me a screen shot please? Then I can confidently take it back to our Consultants and find out what on earth have they done in the name of customisation.

Thank you

Kaz

Address Tab

General Tab

If you go the country on the address and see the details of the country (Go to main table on country), there will be field in general tab (field - Country/Region type). Check if this is EU.
