I have installed SQL option (Navision Attain) in WTS as a client. When I run the SQL option directly (in the WTS) or indirectly (workstation connecting to the WTS), the window installation screen (the oen similar to office 2000) is prompting everytime. I used same login ID each time. I used the standard method to install the SQL option, inserting the installation and choosing client option to install it. Can anyone tell me why? And how can I resolve this problem? Thank you
This is a problem with the Windows Installer. Please uninstall Navision and reinstall using the Add-Remove programs option. Otherwise - don’t install by using the autostart problem. I would also recommend rebooting the server first just to make sure that the Windows installer has completed it’s installation of itself.

Remove the Shortcut and create Your own shortcut to finsql.exe. Then it should work just fine. //Lars
