I’ve upgraded my desktoppc and laptop to windows 8.1 and for some reason I can no longer install or remove NAV 2013.
When I start setup.exe nothing happens.
What can I do to fix this?
I have an image of the R2 versions of 2013 which install fine. However I’m not sure I can use it with the current database.
Have you checked if any errors shows up in the Event Viewer?
Have you tried to use the “Run as Administrator”?
Tried and failed, using admin.
However retried setup.exe today and it worked OK.
Only difference: Some unrelated updates were installed, mainly ms office related.
Still puzzled, glad it works though.
