Installing Outlook integration NAV2009

Hi Everyone,

One of our customers has asked me to setup a demo for the integration of NAV2009 SP1 with outlook.

After installing the (what I think are necessary) components, an error is given within NAV when starting the form Outlook Synch. Entities (classic client)

The error is: “Installation and configuration of the Microsoft Outlook Integration Add-in is not complete. Be sure that Outlook Integration is installed and all required objects are allowed to run”

I’ve installed the next components:

  • Role tailored Client

  • Server with Outlook integration

  • Classic Client with Outlook Integration

  • Application Server with Outlook Integration

  • SDK

  • Outlook add-in

The NAS connects to the demo SQL server database and is working with the startupparameter OSYNCH

The user I’m working with is in the user setup, a salesperson code has been created and its e-mail address is filled in. Also I’ve tried to insert a record in the table using the object designer. This seems to work, but when I try to open the Outlook Item, the same error is given.

I am working with Outlook 2003, with NAV2009 SP1 on SQL Server 2005 SP2.

Also I have done several de-installations and installations of the Outlook integration files to correct this error, but it does not seem to work.

As I am unable to see what should be installed more then I’ve done so far, does anyone has an idea of how to correct this?
