Install Enterprise Portal and Role Centers

Hi Dynamics Ax Community,

I am currently doing some installing / add enterprise portal and role centers. I created a new sites with port 175 to be use to when I install the Enterprise portal and role centers, but at the end of the installation the status shows “Error”. I am wondering is the ports cause this? or where can I find any reference for step by step installing enterprise portal and role center in Dynamics ax 2009.

how u created ur webapplication ??? by using iis or sharepoint?

try to create a new web application using sharepoint.

otherwise post ur mail id, ill mail u my document

But why are you trying to create new Web site manually whereas Windows Sharepoint Services(WSS) installs it for you ??

Because I need to create another website with different port to access. More in the purpose of testing. Please send me any relevant document if you have.

you can create web application with diff ports using sharepoint also
